EXTHA was asked to provide electric cable protection on the A86 motorway construction site. The contact temperature between the cables and the protection system was not to exceed 100°C after one hour's exposure to fire. Thanks to its system of prefabricated cable troughs, EXTHA was able to propose an appropriate and effective solution. The cable trough and its expansion joint underwent fire resistance testing in a French laboratory.
