EXTHA smoke extraction ducts are manufactured from EXTHAMAT® boards and achieve the EI 120 S classification according to EN 1366-8. The "S" suffix guarantees smoke tightness — preventing smoke leakage into protected areas.

Performance requirements

• External fire resistance: EI 120 — 2 hours protection against external fire
• Hot smoke resistance: withstands internal smoke circulation at 400°C
• Smoke tightness (S): no smoke leakage into protected areas
• Pressure resistance: withstands pressure differentials from smoke extraction fans

Regulatory requirements
