From its founding in 1984 to today, EXTHA has continuously evolved to deliver the highest-performance passive fire protection solutions.

1984
EXTHA founded
The company was established in Groslay, specialising in the manufacture of fire-rated staff ducts. Modest beginnings, ambitious goals.
1995
EN 1366 certification
Obtaining the first European certifications for the fire-rated product range. International recognition of EXTHA quality.
2005
Expansion into fire protection coating
Launch of the FIREMAT® sprayed intumescent coating range. Development of application services across France.
2015
Regional subsidiaries established
Opening of 3 regional subsidiaries in France for faster response times and proximity to clients.
2020
New-generation EXTHAMAT® boards
Major innovation: launch of high-performance boards for high-rise buildings (IGH) and public buildings (ERP). A revolution in passive fire protection.
2024
EXTHA Academy
Launch of certified training programmes. Sharing expertise and certifying specifiers and installers.
